We went to Jostedal Glacier Park near Gjerde for a blue ice adventure. The glacier looms behind us.
Before climbing we put on crampons and gloves and secured our ice picks.
To prevent people from falling and getting lost we were all roped together. "Is my harness tight enough?" asks mom.
We hiked for a couple of hours on the blue ice. It seemed as though we were on another planet.
Aren't we the adventurous Andersons?(Click on the picture to go to the "official" Norwegian Glacier Hiking web page.)
